How much does it cost to do a workshop?

All of our rings and pendants start at a base price of $60. This covers the cost of the silver and the studio fee. The gems you will choose from are all individually priced, most averaging about $10-$15. There are additional design features you can choose to add to your ring, such as twist wire detailing or silver beads, which cost extra and are completely optional. The base price, plus the cost of your gem, and any additional detailing, is your total! Most finished items range from about $75-$95.

How long does a workshop take?

Most workshops are about 2-3 hours long, depending on the amount of people and the complexity of the rings being made.

What can I make in a workshop?

You can make a ring, our most popular customer choice ;-), or a pendant for a necklace. Pendants come with a silver filled 18 inch chain. Both products take about the same amount of time.

What type of metal do you use?

All of our products, whether they’re made by our silversmiths or by you in your workshop, are created with the highest quality .925 sterling silver.

What will the process of making my ring look like?

First, you will choose your gem. We hear this is the most difficult part of the process, with so many amazing options! Then, you’ll choose your style of bezel and band, plus any additional details. Add lots of flux and solder, do some pickling, polishing, and burnishing, (don’t worry, you’ll learn all these terms!) and your ring will be finished! A silversmith instructor will guide you throughout the process, but you will be the one doing the hands-on work!

How many spots are in a workshop?

Normally there are up to 8 people per session. We do this to ensure that each of our customers receives personal, one-on-one guidance from one of our silversmith instructors, so that you can have the best possible experience hand-crafting your ring! Do the rings we make have to have a gem? Can I make a plain silver ring?

Gems are not required. Plain bands are cool too!

What are some of the gems we can choose from? And where do they come from?

Our studio is home to a wide variety of beautiful stones, in all colors, shapes, and sizes. Some of our most popular gems are rhodochrosite, larimar, turquoise, and moonstone. Each one of our gems is hand selected by us and purchased from hundreds of vendors from all over the world. You’re sure to find something you love!

What types of payments do you take for workshops?

We accept card, cash and Venmo!
